 An Evening Built Around Conversation

01 / The Invitation

A closer look.
A personal connection.

Some details ask to be seen in person: the edge of a hand-cut collage, the depth of a shell sculpture, the way mirrored fragments catch the light. On Friday, October 16th, from 5–8 PM, join The HUB in Bridgehampton for an exclusive evening that brings those details—and the stories behind them—into focus. Explore six distinct artistic practices, then gather for a live panel beginning at 6 PM. From coastal assemblage and expressive portraiture to pop-culture collage and experimental mixed media, the collection offers plenty to discover and discuss. Whether you collect art, love design, or enjoy finding something unexpected, come with curiosity. Enjoy light refreshments and make new connections.

02 / The Artists & Their Work

Six creative perspectives.

Get to know the featured artists before the evening. Each profile links to a closer look at their work at The HUB.

Oyster Shells · Pearls · Resin

Faris Saleh

The shoreline, sculpted.

Faris Saleh turns discarded oyster shells, pearls, and resin into dimensional assemblages that evoke blossoms, branching gardens, and coastal life. Works such as Osprey and Sunset Prairies reward a change in viewpoint: natural ridges catch the light while layered forms cast delicate shadows. Discover a practice rooted in the textures of the shore, where familiar materials become sculptural stories.

Photography · Painting · Neo-Pop

Roger Sichel

An image becomes an icon.

Roger Sichel’s practice moves between photography, painting, and digital experimentation. The HUB’s selection connects the intimacy of his Woodstock imagery with theatrical royal portraits and hand-painted floral works. It offers a rich starting point for a conversation about memory, celebrity, and how an image changes across media. Look for the balance between a quiet human moment and the visual confidence of neo-pop.

Hand-Cut Collage · Cultural Memory

Greg Weinstein

Pop culture, cut by hand.

Greg Weinstein builds his collages from original comic-book pages, photographs, and sheet music, cutting and assembling each fragment by hand. In pieces including Fab Four Ever and Spider Spangled Banner, recognizable icons give way to a world of smaller images when you move closer. His work brings craftsmanship, humor, and cultural memory into the same frame, with details that make a second look especially rewarding.

Expressive Portraits · Painted Objects

Peter Robert Keil

Portraiture with a pulse.

Bold black contours, saturated color, and expressive eyes define Peter Robert Keil’s visual language. The works featured at The HUB carry that energy from portraits of Warhol and Picasso onto skateboards, a painted chair, and even a suitcase. His section of the collection invites a lively look at how spontaneous brushwork and unexpected surfaces can change the way we experience a face.

Duct Tape · Mixed Media · Sculpture

Michael L. Bronspigel (MLB)

Everyday materials. Unexpected art.

Michael L. Bronspigel, known as MLB, transforms household materials—especially duct tape—into colorful wall works and sculpture. Layered, folded, and shaped surfaces reveal the construction behind his flowers, hearts, figures, and totems. With roots in the Hamptons, his practice brings an inviting sense of life to familiar symbols, rewarding both an immediate response to color and a closer look at texture.

Glass · Mirror · Crystals · Resin

Sebastian “Bastian” MOPA

Fragments that catch the light.

Sebastian “Bastian” MOPA combines broken glass, mirror, crystals, and resin in compositions that respond to the light around them. The Garden gathers fragments into a radiant floral portrait; The Two Oceans creates an aquatic world of blue, shells, and reflection. Seeing these works in person lets you follow their changing surfaces and discover how separate pieces come together through color, placement, and care.
