This September, two of the Hamptons’ most dynamic community platforms are joining forces to close out the season in style. Art Hampton and The HUB are proud to present A New Beginning, a month-long group exhibition opening Friday, September 18th, that brings together twenty-one contemporary artists under one roof in Bridgehampton — and marks the start of a fresh chapter for art on the East End.

Two Hamptons Institutions, One Shared Vision

Art Hampton has built its reputation as a community-driven art platform, connecting artists, collectors, and the East End community through curated exhibitions, a digital art marketplace, and standout events across the region. The HUB, Bridgehampton’s 6,000-square-foot destination for retail, wellness, beauty, and experience, has spent its first season becoming a true gathering place — hosting everything from fitness residencies to community fundraisers for causes like Hamptons Pride and ARF Hamptons.

Now the two are combining forces. A New Beginning takes Art Hampton’s growing roster of artists and places their work inside The HUB’s space, turning a retail and lifestyle destination into a working gallery for a full month. It’s a fitting pairing: both platforms were built around the idea that community, commerce, and creativity don’t have to live in separate rooms.

What to Expect

Marking the transition into a new season, A New Beginning is designed as exactly that — a reset, a fresh start, and an opportunity to connect new work with new audiences. The show brings together an unusually wide range of practices and perspectives, from established names with decades of exhibition history to artists just beginning to build their presence in the Hamptons art scene.

Among the twenty-one artists on view is Roger Sichel, the photographer and photojournalist whose career runs from documenting Woodstock in the 1960s and ’70s to launching artwork into space aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9, with a résumé that includes collaborations with Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, and Pablo Picasso. Peter Robert Keil, the German Neo-Expressionist painter and sculptor associated with Berlin’s “Junge Wilde” movement, brings five decades of vivid, unrestrained color work shaped by his early mentorship under Otto Nagel and his friendships with artists like Georg Baselitz and Joan Miró. Faris Saleh, a Berlin-based Palestinian actor and physical-theater artist, contributes a practice that moves fluidly between performance, photography, and video. And Eve B, working under the name Denim Jean Art, sculpts reclaimed denim directly onto canvas from her Garment District studio, building tactile, textured pieces meant to slow viewers down and draw them into the present moment.

Rounding out the roster are Connie Cortese, Youngest Waffle, Brian Drost, Soul Face, Michael Flomen, Ken Hansen, Crash42170, Sam Clermont, Robert Singer, NathanDET, Anton Connolly, Sebastian Mopa, Leila Pinto, Marilyn Fleming, Greg Weinstein, Andy Barry, and Rocco Liccardi — a lineup spanning photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and street-influenced work, reflecting the full breadth of what Art Hampton has been cultivating across its network.
